Biography

Experienced Certified Child Life Specialist Supervisor, Educator-Adjunct Professor and Behavioral Health Specialist with a demonstrated extended history of working in the both the hospital/health care and education industries. Skilled in the education, behavioral health and pediatric health care based interventions with a focus on Autism Spectrum Disorder. Passionate about trauma informed care, development of healthcare policies and protocols, program development, development of medical record templates and consultation services driven by Lean methodology. Experienced public speaker and education developer. Strong professional with a double B.S. focused in Child and Family Sciences with a concentration on Child Life Studies and Early Childhood/Elementary Education from Florida State University. Combined M.S. in Exceptional Student Education Pre-K Disabilities/Exceptional Student Education K-12/ESOL-Reading from the University of Miami. Trilingual-English/Spanish/Portuguese.
