At Mills Since 2000
Elisabeth Wade is a physical chemist, whose research is focused on the kinetics of atmospheric reactions. This includes reactions of pollutants and of natural chemicals in the atmosphere, especially those triggered by sunlight. She has published eighteen articles in journals such as Journal of Chemical Physics and Atmospheric Environment, and has mentored more than 20 undergraduate students who have co-authored articles and presentations. She is on the Executive Committee of the Western Spectroscopy Association, which sponsors the annual Pacific Conference on Spectroscopy and Dynamics. Since January 2017, Elisabeth Wade has also served Mills as the Associate Provost for Curriculum Development.
