Oakland, CA–November 09, 2011 The Mills College Children's School, the oldest laboratory school west of the Mississippi, will host a symposium for the East Bay Independent Schools Association (EBISA) on November 18 in the Littlefield Concert Hall.
Mills President Alecia A. DeCoudreaux will deliver the keynote address for the association’s annual symposium designed for educators from EBISA member schools. Leading faculty members from the Mills College School of Education will serve as panelists and share their expertise during the symposium titled “Educating, Teaching, and Leading is a Political Act: Stay the Course.”
Celebrating its 85th anniversary next year, the Mills College Children’s School has a dual mission of training early childhood education professionals and educating infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and students from kindergarten through fifth grade.
