Forbes.com Names Mills one of the 50 Top ROI Colleges for 2014
Oakland, CA–April 16, 2014 Mills College graduates value their degrees at a remarkably high rate, according to the 2014 “Grateful Graduates Index” published by Forbes.com. The research analyzed 10 years of private gifts to private, not-for-profit colleges and universities offering four-year degrees.
In an online gallery of The 50 Top ROI Colleges 2014: The Grateful Grads Index, Mills ranked 29th.
The “Grateful Graduates” study measured the median amount of annual private gifts to a four-year college over time, divided by the number of full-time students at the college. The 10-year median donation per Mills student was $16,922. The premise of the study was that “the best colleges are the ones that produce successful people who make enough money during their careers to be charitable and feel compelled to give back to the schools that contributed to their success.”
