President DeCoudreaux Interviewed on KGO-TV About Efforts to Address Global Water Issues

Oakland, CA—July 01, 2015

Mills College President Alecia DeCoudreaux was recently interviewed on KGO-TV ABC7’s Beyond the Headlines. The show’s topic was about efforts dedicated to finding solutions to the water crisis not only locally, but internationally. In addition to measures Mills students are taking to conserve water on campus, DeCoudreaux discussed “Women, Water, and the World: How Women Can Solve the Earth’s Water Crisis,” an international Institute hosted by Mills College to address global water issues.

The Institute, which was part of the Women in Public Service Project, provided a forum for shared learning, dialog, and networking among 30 emerging women leaders from more than 25 countries working to rebuild their communities, expand their public service orientation, and promote sustainable economic livelihoods.
