The success of Mills College depends not only on the competence of its faculty and staff, but also on its reputation for honesty, integrity, and bias-free conduct. Mills College has established a call hotline and online reporting system to provide our employees with a simple way to anonymously and confidentially report activities that may involve unethical or otherwise inappropriate activity or behavior in violation of our established Anti-Fraud Policy (PDF) and Code of Conduct as established in the Employee Handbook (PDF).
Anyone who suspects fraud, abuse, or misuse of the Colleges' resources or assets; encounters dishonest actions or deeds; suspects a conflict of interest; experiences or becomes aware of harassment of any kind; or any other behavior that violates Mills’ policies, laws, or regulations has a responsibility to report the violation or suspected violation.
Mills College expects any report of a violation will be made in good faith, and that it will reflect a real and legitimate concern that you believe should be addressed. While you may submit anonymous reports and these will be reviewed by the relevant office, the College's ability to address concerns reported by anonymous sources may be significantly limited.
The Mills online reporting system is specifically designed for reporting matters of a financial nature, human resources-related incidents, and workplace safety. Please note that harassment and discrimination should be reported using the existing policies and procedures outlined in the Employee Handbook (PDF).
