At Mills, we support healthy living on campus in a variety of ways, from offering fresh, organic food options to providing wellness resources. As a student here, you can access the Student Health Center, our fitness center and athletic facilities, as well as connect with a network of campus and community resources that can help you make smart lifestyle choices.
You can contact the staff in the Office of Wellness and Community Outreach with questions about signing up for the student health plan; selecting a physician, dentist, or alternative healthcare provider; for referrals to off-campus physicians or counselors; or to get support or advice for a particular health concern. Throughout the year, Mills staff partners with student organizations to host activities and workshops to promote healthy attitudes and choices regarding personal wellness, sexual and reproductive health, stress management, drug and alcohol safety, and more.
Mills offers an on-campus Student Health Center to take care of routine health needs. If it’s after hours, you can always call the 24/7 nurse advice line for support.
The CHRC is a student-run, on-campus space that provides confidential, safe access to information and resources for all genders. Resources and counseling include: safe sex supplies, positive sexuality, LGBTQ health rights, domestic violence prevention, and information on local doctors and clinics.
